Privacy policy

Effective October 14, 2026 · Last updated October 15, 2026

This policy explains what Akari Growth collects through akarigrowth.com, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.

The short version

  • We only collect what you type into our forms, what you send us, and the basic technical data every website receives.
  • We use it to reply to you, decide if we are a good fit, and run our business.
  • We use analytics to see how the site is used, and advertising tools to show our ads to people who may be interested. You can opt out.
  • We never send what you type into our forms to analytics or advertising partners.
  • We do not sell your information for money.
  • We do not want patient information on this website. Please don’t send it.
  • You can ask us to show, fix or delete your information at any time.

1Who we are

Akari Growth (“Akari,” “we,” “us”) is a growth advisory business for med spas and multi-location aesthetics groups. This policy covers akarigrowth.com, including the home page, /profit-engine and /portfolio, and the forms on those pages.

It does not cover the work we do for a client under a signed agreement. That work follows the terms of that agreement.

2What we collect

We collect information in four ways.

Information you give us in a form

FormWhat it asks for
Med spa application (home page)Your name, med spa name, work email, website, role, phone number, approximate annual revenue, number of locations, approximate database size, how often you run promotions, your Black Friday plans, the growth areas you care about, and any notes you add.
Profit Engine formYour name, work email, spa name, website or social profile, number of locations, approximate size of your marketing list, an optional Black Friday goal, your acknowledgment of starting investment, and whether you want occasional updates.
Portfolio inquiryYour name, work email, company, role, number of locations, approximate platform revenue, approximate patient record count, the CRM or EMR you use, and the growth initiative you are weighing.

Along with your answers, each form sends the page you were on, the site that sent you to us (the referrer), any campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example utm_source), and the time you sent it.

If you stop partway through the med spa application. Once you have entered your name and med spa name, the application may send the answers you have given so far, marked “partial,” so your progress is not lost. If you don’t want that, close the form before you enter those two details, or email us and we’ll delete it.

Information you share when you book a call

If you book a call, you do it through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email, the time you pick and any answers you give on its booking page. Calendly’s own privacy notice covers that information.

Information you send us directly

If you email us or talk with us, we keep what you send so we can respond and keep a record of our conversation.

Analytics and advertising information

We use Google Analytics and the tracking tools of the ad platforms we advertise on. When you visit, these tools use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the link or ad that brought you here, your browser and device type, and your general location (city or region, based on your IP address). Ad platforms may connect this with other activity they see from you on other sites and apps. See Cookies, analytics and ads for how to opt out.

Technical information

Like every website, ours receives your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for when your browser loads it. Our web host may keep this in short-term server logs for security and to keep the site running. We also load our typeface from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads. Google’s privacy policy covers that.

3What we don’t collect

  • No patient information. Our forms ask about your business only. Please don’t include patient names, contact details, treatment histories or any health information.
  • No payment details. We never ask for card or bank information on this site.
  • No sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers.

4How we use it

  • To read and answer your inquiry, and to set up and hold a call if you book one.
  • To decide if our services are a good fit for your business. The med spa application sorts answers by how well they match the businesses we work with. A person reviews every application. Nothing is decided by software alone.
  • To prepare a proposal or agreement if you ask for one.
  • To understand which outreach brought you to us, using the campaign tags in your link.
  • To measure how the site is used and improve it, using analytics.
  • To show our ads to people who have visited this site or may be interested in our services, and to measure whether those ads work.
  • To send occasional updates, only if you ask for them (see Emails from us).
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet our legal duties.

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps you asked for before a possible contract, our legitimate interest in replying to business inquiries and running our business, your consent for optional updates and for analytics and advertising cookies, and legal duties where they apply.

5Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws, such as California’s, treat letting advertising partners collect information through cookies on a website as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money changes hands. In that sense, our use of advertising tools may count. You can opt out at any time; see Cookies, analytics and ads.

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.

ProviderWhat they do
FormSubmitDelivers form answers to our inbox. It may keep a short-term copy under its own terms.
CalendlyShows our calendar and books calls.
Google FontsServes the typeface the site uses.
Google AnalyticsMeasures how visitors use the site.
Advertising platformsSuch as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn, when we advertise there. They show our ads and tell us whether the ads worked.
Our web hostStores and delivers the website files.
Our email and business toolsHold the messages and records we use to work with you.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. If that happens, this policy will still apply to the information we hold.

6Cookies, analytics and ads

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site uses three kinds of cookies and browser storage.

Needed for the site to work

These stay on your device. The campaign tags reach us only as part of an inquiry you choose to send.

Advertising

When we advertise on a platform, that platform’s cookie or pixel on this site lets it show our ads to people who have visited, and report whether an ad led to a visit or an inquiry. Each platform sets its own cookies and decides how long they last, often a few months. Their use of this information is covered by their own privacy policies: Google, Meta and LinkedIn.

We don’t send your form answers, name, email or phone number to analytics or advertising partners.

How to opt out

Where the law requires your consent before analytics or advertising cookies are used, as in the UK and European Economic Area, we ask first. Calendly may set its own cookies when the booking calendar loads after you send a form. Those are covered by Calendly’s privacy notice.

7Emails from us

If you send an inquiry, we will email you about that inquiry. That is not marketing.

We only send updates or news if you check the box asking for them. Every update includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also reply and ask us to stop.

8How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that don’t become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact, so we have the context if you reach out again. Then we delete it.
  • Clients: for as long as we work together, and after that for as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require.
  • Update emails: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record of the unsubscribe so we don’t email you again.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See Your choices and rights.

9How we protect it

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit who can see inquiries and keep the accounts that hold them secured. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

10Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy.
  • Fix anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop emails or any use of your information for marketing.

Depending on where you live, such as California and other US states, the UK or the European Economic Area, you may have more rights under local law. These can include the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to move your data to another service, to appeal our decision about your request, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

How to ask. Email us at [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to confirm it is you before we act. You can use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof that they act for you. We will reply within 45 days, or within one month if you are in the UK or EEA, and tell you if we need more time.

No penalty. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.

Appeals. If we turn down your request, reply to our answer and ask us to look again. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general or data protection authority.

11Health and patient information

This website is not built to collect health information, and our forms don’t ask for it. Please don’t send patient names, contact details, treatment records or other health information through this site or by regular email. If you send it anyway, we will delete it and won’t use it.

When a client shares patient information with us for a campaign, that happens under a separate written agreement with that client, and that agreement controls how the information is handled. This website does not give medical advice.

12Children

This site is for business owners and leaders. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Where data is handled

Akari is based in the United States, and our service providers may handle information in the US and other countries. If you are outside the US, your information will be handled in places whose privacy laws may be different from yours. We only use providers we trust to protect it.

14Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will make it clear on this page before it takes effect.

15Contact us

Questions or requests about privacy: [email protected]. Please put “Privacy request” in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.
